Flossie Malavialle and Eddy Jay

If you’re looking for an authentic French chanson duo, Flossie and Eddy should be top of your list. French born Flossie has a wonderfully warm and expressive vocie perfectly suited to French songs, although she also sings in English, Spanish and Portuguese! Eddy Jay is a virtuoso accordion player who has to be heard to be fully appreciated. Together, they are a duo to be reckoned with, providing rich, sophisticated and engaging music for any occasion.

The Dhol Drummers

When you want your event to start with a bang, these guys are perfect! From Hindi weddings to sports events, The Dhol Drummers’ captivating rhythms and infectious energy will delight and entertain any audience or crowd, inside or out. The group also offer a range of music workshops for school, organisations and private clients, so everyone can get have a go!

Simona Mauriello and Celtic Footwork

Celtic Footwork takes Irish dance firmly into the 21st century with high-energy routines, daring choreography and footwork almost faster than the human eye can follow. Lead dancer Simona Mauriello has won over 200 championships and 17 major titles, and took the lead girl dancer role in “Lord of the Dance.’ Celtic Feet can adapt their show to almost any venue size, large or small, and they even offer audience participation!

Saenkhamnung Thai Music Ensemble

Specialising in Thai classical and folk music, this highly talented ensemble bring the surprisingly infectious sounds of Thailand to any event. Available as mahoorii (percussion and string) and khruang saai (string) ensembles, the group have entertained at major events including the 2012 Olympics, and the Interfaith Music Festival. We’re thrilled they have joined our roster of Asian and Far Eastern musicians here at Matters Musical.

James Shannon

One listen to James playing, and you’ll heard just how wonderful a solo guitar can sound in the hands (and fingers) of an expert! Popular classics, played to perfection, providing a gentle, chilled soundtrack for any event. Book him as background music, and be prepared for your guests to drift towards him and just sit and listen. He really is that good.

Tim Hain and The Lagavulins

Tim Hain is a bit of a musical chameleon. See him with his band Jamside Up, and you’ll see a master of reggae at work. Hera him with the Langavulins, and you’ll hear a masterful rendition of whiskey-infused blues! No wonder he’s known as “The King of Bleggae”! Ideal for any event that’s crying out for quality, heartfelt, no-frills music that touches the soul.

Champagne Swing

A grand cru blend of jazz, gypsy folk, French musette inspired by the style of Django Reindhardt that bubbles and fizzes on your ears. Irrepressible, irresistible and enchanting, especially when performing acoustically in smaller venues or at your exclusive garden party.
