Lost In Music are a fully professional live party band and are perfect for all functions – weddings, birthdays, corporate events, barmitzvahs, theatres, etc.
Corporate clients include Ryan Air, British Airways, Toni & Guy, Variety Club, Tesco, Duke Of Edinburgh Awards etc and many many more.
They have an enormous set list and are hugely experienced (something of an understatement!) in playing all kinds of shows, all over the country and abroad. They are working constantly all over the UK and can incorporate many different (superbly put together) costumed themes into their show such as Abba, 1970s disco, 1980s, James Bond, School Disco, Grease, Classic Rock or Madonna.
They produce layer upon layer of rich vocal harmonies (there are a lot of singers in the band!) and there’s lots of energy on the stage. This is NOT a band who like to stand still reading music, this is a band that want to enjoy what they do – play great party music to get the guests moving – and their enthusiasm is infectious!
Lost In Music can be booked as a basic 6-piece band (male and female lead vocals, guitar / vocals, drums, keyboards / vocals, bass / vocals) or as an incredibly exciting full 10-piece (adding one extra female singer, one extra male singer, and a 2-piece brass section) – this big band is a fantastic spectacle and makes it possible for the band to perform costumes changes mid-set.
As a band, they have supported artistes such as Robbie Williams, Steps, Edwin Starr, Showaddywaddy, Boy George, Lightning Seeds, Cast, Sash etc. As individual musicians they have played with bands such as Hot Chocolate, Odyssey, Beverley Craven, etc.
Lost In Music can supply a PA system and lighting for your event so that they arrive fully self contained. Want music before, in-between and after the band’s live sets? No problem, they have professionally mixed compilations to keep everyone moving. It’s certainly not a case of pressing play on any old CD!
The band are managed by Kevin McCarthy who prides himself on his organisational skills – here is a musician (with a business background) who actually realises that, as much as this is a fun job for everyone, it is still a job that needs to run like clockwork!
Put simply – Lost In Music are band that will not let you down, no matter how large or small your event.

“I am going to write a “formal” thank you to you for your incredible work… but I wanted in this first instance, to just express my personal thanks to you and your fellow musicians for such a fantastic performance last night. Firstly, it was lovely to meet with you all… the feedback regarding your band and the music [already] has been amazing and I will personally be recommending you to all my friends! Thank you for being so flexible, and so accommodating throughout this whole process. It’s not often you get folks doing the conga (twice) during a “Ball”… but you managed it! I am in awe… and very grateful!” Sharon Collins (28/5/16, Oxford Town Hall, school fundraiser)
“The band were perfect and the dance floor was heaving all night long – the band got it 100% right and we had great feedback from our guests, so please pass on our thanks to them.” (Claridge’s, 12/8/17).
“They were the perfect opening band to the festival, great interaction with the audience. We had around 350 people and I’ve heard only good things from our visitors about the bands. They arrived well in advance, were professional and very friendly. We appreciate we are an unusual audience but they were great! Would definitely recommend and definitely worth the money.” (Naturist Festival, 28/7/17).
