Pandemic sends musicians quackers!

Well that’s not something you see everyday!

The Craigievar Ceilidh Band kept spirits afloat over the Summer with their aquatic socially distanced performances.

They helped raise over £3000 for Macmillan Cancer Support by performing on a raft on the River Thames travelling from Wargrave to Henley and back.

The playing space was 12ft by 8ft and they were less than 2ft above the water, towing a 30ft high inflatable yellow duck.

This was the first live music that many had heard for many months and I’m sure it put a smile on their faces, it certainly put a smile on ours!

They are available for other socially distanced performances. Find out more here.
