A whole world of music: celebrating United Nations Day

United nations flags at the UN

Wednesday 24 November is United Nations Day, a celebration of the world’s largest intergovernmental organisation. Established by the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, a further 50 sovereign states signed up as founding members in 1945, with Poland signing up later in the year.

It’s fascinating to see that list of founding countries and compare it with our roster of international artists! We can provide artists who were born or play the music of all but a handful of these countries. Click on the coloured links to discover our specialist music acts for just a small selection of the UN countries.
